Girls Generation's Tiffany has released her second solo single, Heartbreak Hotel

Heartbreak Hotel was the first song I've listened to by Tiffany, and from the reviews I heard of her previous song, I'll be honest with you and say I kept my expectations low. However, Heartbreak Hotel has far exceeded those expectations, with Tiffany showing a very Weeknd-esque sound for this song.

Her music reminds me of early 2000s songs, giving me a disco-ey vibe Not being a very big fan of Girls Generation or Tiffany, this song has made me look forward to more solo releases as it's quite a different style of music from the usual SNSD. Tiffany hits her high notes perfectly in this song, with a rap feature from Simon Dominic, though this feature may be the only thing wrong with the song. Simon D may be a well-known rapper but I feel like his rap here is a bit out of place for the song itself. It's not memorable either.

As the music video opens, we see Tiffany write Heartbreak, and if that's her calligraphy style then damnnnn gurllll, you is blessed. Cut to the next scene and she drops a wine glass just to meet the boy of her dreams. Hear that girls? Next time you're at the club, drop a glass instead of a beat and you may just meet the man of your dreams.

The music video is just another beautiful love story, where the girl meets a boy in a club and they fall in love (already sounds very promising) just to find the boy cheating several cuts later (in a club). It's okay Tiff, you can do better. Forget the cheesy story-line though since the music video is actually quite nice and interesting to watch, but little more than typical cuts of lovers to the moment of the break up.

Heartbreak Hotel was definitely a song I very much liked, so I am looking forward to more releases from Tiffany!!!!
