WATCH: MONSTA X MV IS 'STUCK' IN MY HEAD

Being the biggest Monsta X fan that I know, I can say that Stuck (‪네게만 집착해) is a good song. But with every favourite group, I have my pet peeves. I love Monsta X, I love their chokers, and I usually love their dances, but the dabbing has to stop.

Please try to stick around for the first minute of the music video. I know the verses are boring but the pre-chorus and chorus itself is when it gets better. Stuck gives off that angsty-boy feel and suits their recent upgrade from the 'hardcore' hiphop/electronic group concept to ‘mysterious boy in a dystopia world singing about my romantic troubles’ concept.

Simple music video. Asian boys in a city of the United States, how much more cliché can it get? Don't forget the dancing in a dodgy urban building while spray-painting the wall like the badasses they are.

I like the dance, but the frequency of the dabbing gets to me. What I can say is wait for the dance break with the blonde guy. He lifts up his shirt. ‘Nough said.

This song is worth a listen to regardless of the boring intro. Music video isn’t compulsory though. There’s a dance practice video that has been uploaded so if you want to experience the dabbing in full force, please go ahead and do so. All in all, not too Stuck on the dance but still a great song (see what I did there).
