Watch: Master Chief is Dead in 'Halo 5: Guardians' TV Spot

Humanity mourns the death of Master Chief in the newest television commercial for 'Halo 5: Guardians.' 

The spot is fittingly titled 'Halo 5: A Hero Falls,' set out to build anticipation for the game due October 27 for Xbox One.

Developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios, the game has largely remained a mystery since its announcement. The story is shrouded in unknowns, and I hope that we get a few more answers before the game's release.

If not, maybe  we should just buy 'Halo 5: Guardians.'
