First Drug Restaurant make a comeback and now this. A'Zbus are further proof that K-Rock is on the rise!

간 때문이야 (Gan Ttaemuniya), or It's the liver*, is a single recorded by South Korean band, A'Zbus, released by CJENMMUSIC. That's all my 10 minutes of Googling got me. If you could shed more light on this band/track, hit me up aye.

A'Zbus had me sold from the word go. That electric guitar riff is so damn infectious! In the first 20s, each of the instruments were introduced, allowing us to appreciate the skill with which each of them are played. Be sure to have both earphones in to hear the drumming at 0:15 roll between the left and right channels.

Initially, I desperately wanted to offer the lead singer a Strepsil. But the hoarseness of her voice as she belts out the chorus proved to be electrifying! It provided a nice contrast to oh-so-punk verses. The lead's low tones are a welcome shift away from the higher pitches of most other female Korean artists.

I was slightly disappointed by the bridge though, in which the electric guitar featured prominently. This instrument shone throughout the entire track, and rightly so, however, I wish the drums had more of a presence. Right from the start, we heard (and saw) that this was more than your average drummer. I reckon he could've brought so much more than just a beat to the track.

The most important question though: Where can I get my own drummer bear?!
